This is an open doubles format spiel so you can have "My girl," "My guy," or really anyone as your teammate. "I heard it through the grapevine" that the spiel will be held Friday, March 14-Sunday March 16.

This registration is for Out-of-Town teams only. DCC members use seprate registration which will open December 1st.

This two and a half hour event (similar to our Group Rental program experience) will provide an introduction to curling and is intended for individuals or small groups who have never experienced the sport.

After a brief overview and safety presentation in our warm room, everyone will go on the ice for the remainder of the session where we will cover sliding, stone delivery, sweeping, and scoring as everyone plays a few ends.

April 19, 2025 - $220 per team

Event Includes:

• Light Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
• Three Game Guarantee.

• This is not a USA Curling 5-and-Under National Championship qualifying event.
• USA Curling 5-and-Under eligibility rules apply: Competitors cannot have more than a total of five seasons of curling experience. A season of curling experience is defined as 10 or more games played between July 1 – June 30. Seasons where a player curled fewer than 10 games do not count against the total. ^The 2020-2021 (COVID) season does not count as a season of curling experience for any participant.

• Friday (4/18) will be a one-game playdown. *The winners of the Friday game will advance to the Saturday event. Teams will be seeded by total years of curling experience, then skip experience, then vice experience. If there is still a tie, a draw shot challenge will be used. If there are an odd number of teams, then the top seed (#1) will have direct berth to Saturday. 

• Full payment ($220) is due immediately after the completion of Friday’s game.

• Open team format.

• This is not a USA Curling 5-and-Under National Championship qualifying event.

This is a great event for an athlete's first bonspiel and we will put together teams of individuals as necessary so no worries if you do not have a full team.

Food will be provided during the entire event!

Please be flexible to allow for as many curlers as possible as we will make adjustments to accommodate the mix of competitive and developmental teams for both divisions to play as many games as possible. Championship games will be 8 ends. On-ice coaching allowed.

The event is geared towards kids ages 9-18 who can consistently deliver a stone full sheet.
