Learn To Curls
This two and a half hour event (similar to our Group Rental program experience) will provide an introduction to curling and is intended for individuals or small groups who have never experienced the sport. After a brief overview and safety presentation in our warm room, everyone will go on the ice for the remainder of the session where we will cover sliding, stone delivery, sweeping, and scoring as everyone plays a few ends. About the Club ...
The Detroit Curling Club is a dedicated curling facility with four sheets of ice and a spacious lounge and viewing area. We're in Ferndale, Michigan, close to Downtown Detroit and centrally located between major freeways (I-75 and I-696). We are the only curling club in the Detroit metropolitan area and have an active membership who joins for one primary purpose - to enjoy the grand old game of curling!
