U19 Junior Curler Program - Ages 11-18 - 2023-2024
The U19 Junior Program at the Detroit Curling Club is available for our younger curlers between 11 and 18 years of age. Participants in our program will receive instruction on sliding, delivery, sweeping, scoring, and strategy through a combination of skills drills, scrimmages, and games.
Participants in our U19 program will use full-weight regulation curling rocks which weigh approximately 40 pounds. Drop-in curling is scheduled for Sunday afternoons and Monday/Wednesday afternoons after school.
All equipment is provided, the season runs from November through March, and registration costs $240 for the entire year.

About the Club ...
The Detroit Curling Club is a dedicated curling facility with four sheets of ice and a spacious lounge and viewing area. We're in Ferndale, Michigan, close to Downtown Detroit and centrally located between major freeways (I-75 and I-696). We are the only curling club in the Detroit metropolitan area and have an active membership who joins for one primary purpose - to enjoy the grand old game of curling!
