2026 Curling 101 Course - 11:00 A.M. Class
Our Curling 101 Course is a three (3) class course. It will provide particapants with the basic skills and knowledge of the game that will allow you to join the DCC and play in leagues. If you just want to give curling a quick try, check out our Intro to Curling classes.
Fall 2026 Curling 101 consists of three sessions:
Saturday, October 31st from 11 AM to 1 PM
Topics: History of curling and delivery basics (sliding and delivering a stone), sweeping basics.
Saturday, November 14th from 11 AM to 1 PM
Topics: More delivery and sweeping skills and coaching, how to play and score a game, how to join the DCC.
Saturday, November 21nd from 9 AM to 2:00 PM
Mini Bon (2 game mini tournament)
Fall 2026 Curling 101 Course consists of three sessions:

About the Club ...
The Detroit Curling Club is a dedicated curling facility with four sheets of ice and a spacious lounge and viewing area. We're in Ferndale, Michigan, close to Downtown Detroit and centrally located between major freeways (I-75 and I-696). We are the only curling club in the Detroit metropolitan area and have an active membership who joins for one primary purpose - to enjoy the grand old game of curling!
