Calling all heroes, adventurers, wayward sailors, and curlers who have spent ten years trying to find their way back to the button...

The gods have spoken. The ice has been prepared. The stoness are polished. Your epic journey awaits.

Join us at the Detroit Curling Club for The Curling Odyssey, a weekend-long quest filled with legendary shots, mythical misses, and enough sweeping to make Athena herself question her life choices.

Like Odysseus before you, you will face challenges beyond imagination:

• Perilous draws through crowded houses.
• Treacherous takeouts guarded by sea monsters posing as lead stones.
• The temptation of the warmroom bar, whose siren song has lured many teams from competitive greatness.
• The ever-present danger of attempting "just a little more weight."

Whether you arrive from distant kingdoms across the border, neighboring provinces, or merely the far reaches of metro Detroit, you are invited to embark on this glorious voyage.

Your Quest Includes:

• Three-game guarantee
• Mixed teams from across the Great Lakes, Canada and beyond
• Legendary food and drink
• Fellowship worthy of Homer's finest verses
• Prizes that may or may not be blessed by the gods of curling

Costumes inspired by Greek mythology, epic literature, or your favorite ancient seafaring disaster are warmly encouraged. Togas, tridents, olive wreaths, cyclops eye patches, and suspiciously large wooden horses are all considered appropriate bonspiel attire.

The Oracle's Advice:

Register early. Even Odysseus had a plan, and unlike him, you'll want to know where you're sleeping before arriving.

So gather your crew, name your ship, and set a course for Detroit.

The journey home may take ten years.

The bonspiel only takes a weekend.
